Arrivals
Salzburg has one main arrivals hall, with a second terminal used for winter charters a short walk away. Clear passport control, collect your cases, then pick up skis and oversized bags from the outsize baggage belt. The meeting point sits on your booking, alongside a number that reaches a person.
Private transfers
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, past the barrier, holding a sign that shows your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk out to the coach park on the forecourt, signed from the hall. Follow the coach signs rather than the car park ones.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers the outsize belt handing back skis and boards.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver follows your flight from the moment you board. Winter weather occasionally pushes a Salzburg arrival to Munich or Innsbruck, and a snowstorm can close the runway for an hour. Your driver sees it before the hall does and will contact you to reposition or rebook. A delayed flight simply moves your pick-up, with nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay in the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Salzburg?
If your flight home leaves late in the day, the old town is ten minutes from the terminal and easily worth the morning.
- The Hohensalzburg fortress above the city is reached by funicular in a couple of minutes and gives the whole Salzach valley in one view.
- Mozart's birthplace on the Getreidegasse sits among the wrought-iron guild signs that make the street worth walking even if you skip the museum.
- Schloss Hellbrunn and its trick fountains are fifteen minutes south, and the gardens hold the gazebo from the Sound of Music.
