Arrivals
Heathrow lands you at one of four terminals. Terminals 2 and 3 share the central area, Terminal 4 is to the south and Terminal 5 to the west. After passport control and baggage reclaim, follow the signs for Arrivals. Your e-ticket lists your exact meeting point and a phone number to call if you cannot see your driver.
Private transfers
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal, past the barrier where the name boards line up, holding a sign with your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk to the coach park for your terminal, a short signed walk from arrivals. Follow the signs for coaches, not the black cab rank.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers a long e-gate queue at Terminal 5.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver tracks your flight from the moment you board. If fog diverts you to Gatwick or Stansted, they know before you land and will contact you to reposition or rebook. A delayed flight simply moves your pickup. There is nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay inside the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Heathrow airport?
If you have time before your transfer or your flight home, the towns west of London reward an early start.
- Windsor Castle and Eton are twenty minutes south for the State Apartments, the Long Walk and the river.
- Kew Gardens sits on the road into town, with the Palm House and the treetop walkway an easy half-day.
- Richmond Park and the Thames path at Richmond are fifteen minutes east for a walk before a long flight.
