Ski Transfers Private Cars, Taxis, Minibuses & Coaches to 60+ Ski Resorts Worldwide

Compare & Book Your Ski Holiday Airport Transfers With hoppa

The jackets come down from the attic, the thermals come out of storage, and somewhere between the flights and everyone's gloves, one job gets left until last — how you actually reach the resort.

Sort that before you fly and it stops being a job at all. Your driver tracks your flight number, meets you in arrivals and loads the skis. Chamonix, Bansko, Lake Louise, Zakopane — you go straight to the door. No taxi queue in the cold, no coach timetable to catch, no haggling over a fare at midnight.

Private car from £75 · Minibus from £105 · Free cancellation · Prices are indicative. Check hoppa.com for live prices.

How much is a ski transfer from the airport to your resort?

Every price here is for the whole vehicle, not for each seat. A family of four pays the same as a couple on the same road. Split a minibus across six of you and the cost per head drops hard.

These are the main winter gateways and what the drive to the slopes costs from each:

Gateway airport Resorts it serves Drive Private car
Chamonix · Morzine · Avoriaz · Verbier 1h–1h45 from £295
St. Anton · Sölden · Mayrhofen 1h05 from £175
Zell am See · Saalbach-Hinterglemm · Kitzbühel 1h15–1h30 from £195
Laax · Andermatt · St. Moritz 1h30–2h35 from £330
Sauze d'Oulx · Sestriere · Bardonecchia 1h15–1h35 from £295
Val d'Isère · Les Arcs · Courchevel 2h–2h40 from £445
Bansko · Borovets 1h20–2h10 from £100
Arinsal · Pas de la Casa · Soldeu 2h–3h30 from £315

What is the cheapest way to get to your ski resort?

Share a vehicle, not a shuttle. There is no shared shuttle on a ski route with hoppa. Six of you in one minibus to Val Thorens costs far less each than six seats bought separately, and you still go straight to your door. You get a vehicle that is yours, with the skis in the back and no stops at four other chalets on the way.

Remember to book early for the Christmas fortnight and the February half-term. Mountain vehicles sell out on those two weeks first.

Which ski transfer is right for you?

Pick the vehicle that fits your group and your kit, then the price is fixed:

  • Private car: up to 5 seats. Couples, small families & business trips.
  • Private minibus: 1 to 22 seats. Groups, large families & ski clubs.
  • Private coach: 1 to 60 seats. School parties & corporate trips.
  • Wheelchair accessible minibus: up to 6 seats. Request it at booking so the right vehicle is assigned.

Your skis travel with you

  • A ski bag or board bag runs over 24 inches, so it counts as two pieces of luggage. Add it when you book. Your driver then brings a vehicle with the room for it.
  • Tell us about boot bags and poles at the same time. Six of you with six ski bags needs a bigger minibus than six of you with hand luggage.

Why book your ski transfer with hoppa?

You are handing a stranger your family and your skis on a mountain road in the dark. That decision deserves more than the cheapest result on the page.

hoppa works with 70,000+ vetted local fleet providers across 182+ countries and 2,600+ airports and resorts. 40M+ travellers have ridden with us. The driver who meets you knows the road, you are safe and in good hands.

Is hoppa transfer reliable?

Yes. You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts.

Reach our team any hour on chat, email or phone. We answer 99.7% of calls, in 11 seconds on average, and settle most of them in under two minutes.

Can I cancel or change my hoppa transfer?

Cancel a car or 7-seater up to 24 hours before pick-up for a full refund. An 8 to 14-seater needs 48 hours. A 16-seater or larger needs 14 days for a full refund, and between 7 and 14 days you get half the booking value back.

Refunds take 5 to 7 business days from the moment your request reaches us.

Where your booking is eligible you get one free change. That covers passenger names, contact numbers, passenger count and luggage count inside your vehicle’s capacity.

Can an AI assistant book hoppa?

Yes. hoppa is built as mobility infrastructure for agentic travel, and is trusted by Mastercard and UnionPay as that layer. Ask your assistant for a transfer from Geneva to Morzine and it can price the ride and book it.

Ready for the slopes?

The road up the mountain is the one part of a ski trip you cannot improvise. Book the transfer before you fly. The rest of the day then belongs to you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ski Transfers

Can I bring my ski equipment on the transfer?

Yes. A ski bag or board bag runs over 24 inches, so it counts as two pieces of luggage. Add it when you book and your driver brings a vehicle with the space for it.

Tell us about boot bags and poles at the same time. Six of you with six ski bags needs a bigger minibus than six of you with hand luggage.

How do I book a private ski transfer?

Enter your airport, your resort and your flight time. Pick the vehicle that fits your group. Pay a fixed all-in price and your confirmation arrives straight away.

Book before you fly. Mountain vehicles sell out over Christmas and February half-term first.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Your driver tracks your flight number and waits. You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after you land. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before that waiting time starts.

Is there a maximum number of passengers for private ski transfers?

A private car takes up to 5. A minibus takes between 1 and 22, and a coach between 1 and 60. Pick your vehicle at booking and those seats are yours.

The price is for the vehicle, not for each seat.

How much is a ski transfer?

Price follows the vehicle and the distance, never the number of people in it. A private car starts around £75 for the whole vehicle on the shorter mountain routes.

Prices are indicative. Check hoppa.com for live prices on your date.

Is the ski transfer door to door?

Yes. Your driver meets you in arrivals and drops you at your chalet, hotel or apartment address. There are no stops at other resorts on the way.

Can you take a group of eight or more?

Yes. A minibus carries up to 22 and a coach up to 60. One vehicle keeps a ski club or a school party together, and the cost per head falls the more of you there are.

Do you provide child seats?

Your first child seat is free. Request it when you book so the driver fits it before you land.

What if snow slows the mountain road?

Your driver runs that road all winter and knows the diversions. Vehicles carry winter tyres and chains where the route needs them.

Which airport should I fly into for my resort?

Pick your country below. Each block names the gateway airport, how long the drive takes and what a private car costs from there.

Can I book a late-night or early-morning transfer?

Yes, around the clock. A surcharge applies between 22:00 and 08:00 local time, and it is already included in the price you see at booking.

Are wheelchair accessible ski transfers available?

Yes. A wheelchair accessible minibus seats up to 6. Request it at booking so the right vehicle is assigned to your journey.
